2015 Giant Revel 29er

Whether you want to hit the local trails, or update your commute, Giant's Revel 29er is a rock solid choice. Giant's lightweight aluminum frame gives you speed and responsiveness with durability. Up front, a suspension fork with 80mm of travel helps you steer with precision over varied terrain, and it has a lockout if you're on smoother trails or the bike path. And, the Revel rolls on nimble aluminum wheels wrapped in Giant multi-surface tires. You'll also love the easy-pedaling 24-speed drivetrain, the supportive seat, and confidence-inspiring mechanical disc brakes. You're going to exceed your goals.

    Comments:

Bought the 2013 version of this bike a couple of years ago and it was stolen several months ago. I'll be buying the 2015 version this spring, which is essentially the same bike. Great bike that rides well anywhere.

    Comments:

Purchased this in Spring of 2014. Great bike for the price. Great value. Not a $4k bike as far as quality, obviously, you get what you pay for. I'm a big guy (6'3" 250lbs) so I got the XL (22") version of this bike. It fits me very well. The saddle is kind of small for being such a large bike, but I can always upgrade. Again, great bike for the price, great starter bike for MTB.
