2015 Giant Talon 27.5 1

Giant's Talon 27.5 1 is lightweight and offers the perfect blend of speed and control for your trail adventures. It all starts with Giant's ALUXX aluminum frame that's tough, yet nimble and responsive, just what you need for singletrack excursions. Then you get a RockShox 30 Gold fork with 100mm of plush suspension and precise steering to guide you through the rough stuff. It's packed full of Shimano components with 30 speeds for hill-climbing, and Shimano disc brakes for great speed control with modulation. And, 27.5-inch Schwalbe knobbies grip with authority and roll over practically anything in your way.

    • Front Fork With Lockout

        Comments:

I wanted two things in my bike: reliable shifting and on-the-fly front fork lockout adjustment. This bike has both (and disc brakes). It rides great. I replaced the saddle and pedals but that is to be expected. I am a weekend rider and usually ride at Daley Ranch. It is good value for money.

Have been happy with this bike so far except for noisy / hard shifts. Will take it back in for 90 day tune up to iron out small issues. Was happy with the service @ my LBS.
