Bike Assembling 

After travelling, leave the task of reassembling your bike to the pros. While you are getting unpacked, we are here to help get your bike safely and properly assembled. If you would like to make sure your bike is in the best condition possible, we offer optional pre-race tune-up and chain waxing services.

Our unboxing pricing is $75-150, depending on the level of assembly required.

You can either schedule a drop-off of your bike after you arrive in Lake Placid or send us your bike directly in the mail. If you are mailing your bike, we recommend Bike Flights as the best shipping option. Contact us to get on the schedule and for instructions on the best way to address the package.

Pre-Race Tunes 

Nothing is worse than being out on course racing when your gears start shifting funny. Our expert technicians are trained to spot and address any underlying issues and fine-tune any adjustments to make your bike ride the best it possibly can. While we can't guarantee that your race will be free of mechanical problems, proper preparation will reduce the chances of anything going wrong.

Chain Waxing 

Dollar for dollar, chain waxing is one of the all-time best upgrades that you can do to your bike. Chain waxing works by filling the inside surfaces of a chain with hot paraffin wax that, when it cools, provides a near-frictionless interface. Over a whole race, the savings are easily in the multiple-minute range. In addition to the efficiency increase, chain waxing also feels smoother and shifts cleaner. 

The total cost for chain waxing, including an ultrasonic drivetrain cleaning, required for the first time waxing, is $70. Rewaxing is only $20.

Emergency Repairs

It’s never easy with triathlon, and unfortunately, bikes sometimes get damaged at the worst times. If you find yourself in a situation where you need a last-minute repair before the race, don't hesitate to bring it in, and we will do everything we can to get it back into race-ready shape.

Boxing and Shipping 

After the race, we can pack your bike up for you to pick up before your travels home, or for us to ship it out. Our boxing fee is $75-150, depending on the level of disassembly required. If we are shipping your bike back home, we use Bike Flights for labels, and the price of the shipping includes insurance to cover your bike.
