Overview

This shuttle reservation is a flat fee that allows you to start your ride at either the Lake Placid or Tupper Lake terminus, as well as the intermediate points of Saranac Lake (see shuttle pick-up locations below). Once you are dropped off, your party can ride back to your vehicles at your own pace.

Pickup Locations

The price of the shuttle is the same regardless of pickup and drop-off locations. We recommend arriving at the pickup location at least 15 mins ahead of the arranged meeting time.

Lake Placid:

The location for the shuttle pick-up in Lake Placid is at High Peaks Cyclery, located at 2733 Main Street, Lake Placid, NY 12946. Free Parking is available on the road or the municipal parking lot on the NW side of High Peaks Cyclery (Between High Peaks Cyclery and Stewarts). You can also park at the Rail Trail Lake Placid parking lot on Station Street and ride 0.7 miles to High Peaks Cyclery. On Google Maps, the rail trail parking lot address is 260 Station St, Lake Placid, NY 12946.

Riding back from Saranac Lake: approximately 10 miles.
Riding back from Tupper Lake: approximately 34 miles.

Saranac Lake:

The location for the shuttle pick-up in Saranac Lake is at the train depot located at 42 Depot St, Saranac Lake, NY 12983. Free Parking is available.

Riding back from Lake Placid: approximately 10 miles.
Riding back from Tupper Lake: approximately 24 miles.

Tupper Lake:

The location for the shuttle pick-up in Tupper Lake is at the Rail Trail Trailhead and Parking lot, located at 108 Washington St, Tupper Lake, NY 12986. Free Parking is available.

Riding back from Saranac Lake: approximately 24 miles.
Riding back from Lake Placid: approximately 34 miles.

Shuttle Pickup time

Our shuttle is scheduled to pick up your group from Lake Placid at 9:30 or 10:00 at either of the other pickup locations. If your group would prefer an alternative time, please let us know via the question in the booking process. Availability for alternative time slots is dependent on our schedule and staffing. Additional fees may be required.

Bike Rentals

We have E-bikes (pedal assist) and normal bikes available to rent, and are available to be reserved online. Please note that all rental bikes are located at our store in Lake Placid and are required to be returned to our store at the end of the rental period.

If you plaining a shuttle and are interested in renting a bike, we recommend getting a shuttle from Lake Placid. This way, you can ride directly back to our store to return your bike(s). If you prefer to park and end your ride at a different location, we can transport the rental bike(s) from our store to the starting location, but you will be responicable to transport them back to our store, located in Lake Placid, after your ride and before the rental period is over.
